Uçá — named after the crab that inhabits the mangroves — is born where sky meets sea and the green of the vegetation embraces the pale sand.

A set of 12 private residences integrated with the coastal landscape, combining exclusivity, nature and easy access to the region's main destinations. A short walk away, an authentic village reveals its soul: simple houses, generous smiles, and stories told to the rhythm of the hammock.

Lagoa de Santana and the landscape of Uçá

A place where time moves slowly — exactly as life should be lived.

On the Piauí coast, near Parnaíba and Barra Grande, in the village of Barrinha, a lagoon fills with the tides and breathes to the lunar cycle. Steady winds, calm waters and a generous nature define this hidden corner of Piauí.

From July to January, the sun shines high and the wind blows firmly — the dream season for lovers of wind and sea. From February to June, gentle rains awaken the mangroves and renew the land. The community of fishermen, lacemakers and shellfish gatherers welcomes you with warmth and grace.

Homes with local soul and natural comfort.

Inspired by the region's vernacular architecture, the project uses natural materials — raw earth, wood and carnaúba palm thatch — creating thermally comfortable, character-rich spaces that integrate seamlessly with the landscape.

Traditional roofs shelter from sun and rain, while strategically placed openings let air flow naturally. The result is a fresh, sunlit home connected to its environment — without compromising comfort or authentic design.

Sustainability that generates savings and well-being.

Homes built with low-impact local techniques that significantly reduce energy use and operating costs. Solar power, natural light and cross ventilation make each unit more efficient, economical and conscious.

Local materials and natural finishes ensure durability and low maintenance, while celebrating the rustic, refined aesthetic that only nature can offer.

Culture, leisure and belonging.

A cultural pavilion will be the gathering point for events, workshops, artist residencies and gastronomic experiences led by local residents.

Beyond offering leisure and learning, the space strengthens the identity of the place and creates opportunities for income and connection between locals and visitors. More than a house, it is an invitation to a lighter, healthier life, tied to nature.

Barrinha: a new chapter begins here.

This is not just a place to live — it is a place to belong. The project is born with a mission to regenerate the natural landscape and honor what is richest in the region: its culture, its nature and its people. Each home tells a story — the next could be yours.
